At the airport: more bubby photos

Waiting at the airport for flight to Havana in Cuba. Took about half an hour in the car with Evelio but the traffic going in the opposite direction was unbelievable - lined up for kilometers! On our side, when we got a smooth run, I looked at the speedo thinking we were going well over the speed limit of 80 km/hr only to see we were barely registering 60! You are either moving or at a standstill here. Thank heavens the traffic wasn't going OUR way!!

Plenty of time at airport to check-in and pay the $US20 pp at the COPA checkin for the visitor's pass/visa for Cuba. Lots of employees sitting around on the other side of security - laughing, lounging about, doing nothing - as we have seen regularly on our travels over here. Wouldn't happen in Australia; they wouldn't employ so many people anyway!

It has been nice and restful in Panama. We have clean clothes which is a treat. The so-called dry season will be coming to an end soon so it'll be interesting to see what the weather will be like in Panama in a week's time. It has certainly been overcast and humid the past couple of days - but no rain. We are very lucky.
